Susan was born and raised on the East Coast. She moved to Colorado 20 years ago. She ran her own business for a number of years. She has been working at Rangeview Counseling Center since the Fall of 2009, earning internship hours toward her CAC I. Susan started college for the first time in the Spring of 2010. She has completed 2 years at Front Range Community College and will enter the Bachelor of Social Work Program at Metro State University as a Junior in the Fall of this year. She is on a 3-year track to earn a Master of Social Work degree at Metro State.
Susan says that working in the substance abuse field has nurtured her own sobriety. Her guiding philosophy is that through change and good decision-making skills, you can have the life you’ve always wanted.
Susan lives in Lafayette with her two dogs, DeeDee and Gertie, and her two cats, Princess Fiona and Mookie. She enjoys road riding, mountain biking and the beautiful Colorado mountains.
