Alice Smiley, BA
CAC I Intern
Alice is a long-time resident of Boulder and has a love for the community and the environment. She attended and graduated from the University of Colorado, majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Radio, TV and Film. She lived in Philadelphia and Denver before returning to Boulder in 1989. She has held a variety of jobs and done much volunteer work over the years, but feels her most important accomplishment to date is successfully raising her son as an only parent after the death of her spouse in 1986. She has been involved in contemplative practice for over 20 years, which has provided a tremendous foundation for all of her endeavors. Her love of people and her passion for recovery have inspired her to embark on a new career as an addiction counselor. She feels quite fortunate to be interning at Rangeview.
